"The Cottages" is a charming guest house built in the 1800's as several cottages. The building was tastefully converted into a type of Cape Dutch gable, known as “hoedjies” style. The building consists of separate apartments and an extraordinarily sized double garage. Before the current owners bought the building in 1994 it housed several businesses.
In 1994 the current owners established the guest house as a centrally located, convenient bed and breakfast with separate apartments. It was appropriately named “The Cottages”.

The stayover is unique in the sense that all the units have genuine private direct entrances into the garden.
Across the “sloot” furrow is a labyrinth now called “Path Of Hope” which can be a natural way to extend the building (Extra plot)
In the past, a Tea Garden was operated in the garden known as “Susan’s Tea and Scones” Ideal to be reopened.
All units are fully-equiped to be utilized for self catering.
