The beautiful Langkloof valley is the largest apple production area in South Africa. It includes villages like Haarlem, Misgund, Louterwater, Krakeel River, Twee Riviere and Kareedouw.
The main town is Joubertina at the foot of the Tsitsikamma mountains. The town is on the popular R62 halfway ± 180 from Port Elizabeth/George. ± 60 Kilometres from coast. This is a country town with real farm atmosphere.
The yearly Blossom Festival attracts many visitors to Joubertina. This is a big social event involving the whole community. Many side shows like music/song, stalls selling different products, farmers day, rallies, golf day etc.
